Hi ! This is Shoko.

I was born and spent all my life in Wakayama city,
but just a few months ago, I found Koya Mountain is so attractive.
To most people, even who lives in Wakayama, the place is only a mountain for sleighing.
Seniors loves them as a traditional place of budhism,
but I feel strongly that younger people's interests on these Japanese, ancient culture seems dropping off.

Recently I have many opportunity to visit Mt. Koya with friends from foreign countries.
At first, I wanted to show them Japanese traditions in Wakayama city,
but in the end, I was completely fascinated, touchted by the beautiful scene.

I have often taken my friends to Kyoto or Nara, too
they told me that these cities had them feel a little of business,
selling souvenir of miniature of golden temple, big buddha, and lots things.
For Mt.Koya, they do not, the whole place has a style, My friends said.
You can touch and feel the real affinty of history there.
